My name is Jerry Mitch, and I am the owner of Apex Insurance. Having been an insurance broker for over twenty-nine years, allows me to provide a great deal of expertise to my clients.  I specialize in life, health, disability, and other related insurance. It has been my pleasure to work in this industry, as I enjoy helping individuals, families, and groups find insurance solutions. Most days I am able to meet new people, and assist them in acquiring policies that meet their needs. It is such a blessing to enjoy what I do!

The professional association for agents, brokers, and other marketers of health insurance products, is called the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. Being voted in as the first President of the local branch of this association by my peers, was a great honor. It provided a unique opportunity to learn from the most involved and talented brokers in the nation. I am proud to be a member of the association.  Education and representation of the members and the public, is the purpose of the organization. The association has had great influence in improving insurance laws in Oregon and nationally. Leading the local association several times as their president, was a privilege.

As the industry has moved forward with the new healthcare law, many challenges have been encountered. Making this rapid and radical change workable for my clients has required many hours of education and training. It was my decision from the beginning, that I would keep up with this law as it unfolds and evolves. Understanding the new requirements is of the utmost importance to my clients.

There are two self-imposed rules that I have lived by. Never sell a product that I wouldn’t provide to my own family, and always do the right thing. Taking care of my client’s needs, is the measure by which I judge my business success.  Over my career, I have also decided to never advertise, or ask my clients for referrals.  My business has been growing stronger every year, only by unsolicited referrals from my clients.  If you are a current client, I would like to thank you for your business and friendship.  If you are not a current client, I would be very glad to be of service to you.
